Saturday, April 16 2022 was an auspicious day for Chinmaya Jayam for several reasons. It was Hanuman Jayanti. Secondly, it was the day when the Chinmaya Jayam centre opened after being closed for two years and we were able to celebrate in person. Thirdly, Pujya Swami Swatmanandaji joined us for the celebration and conducted the puja. Our President, Meghana Patel, our Past President, Bharat Shah, our Trustee, Anjali Dalal, the past President of Jayam, Mukesh Trivedi, were also present. It was a special day for all of us.

Guru Purnima was celebrated at Jayam centre with Swamini Krishpriyanandaji conducting Paduka Puja. Smt. and Shri Menon and Shri Mukesh Shahri were the yajmans. Archana was done by chanting 108 names of Veda Vyasa. Swaminiji sang a beautiful song on Veda Vyasa composed by Swami Tejomayanandaji, in her melodious voice.

On 1st May, all the chapters of Bhagawad Gita were chanted at the residence of Mrs. Pushpa Mehta, Bandra. Her daughter organised the event to celebrate her mother’s 81st birthday, on the same day. The chanting was followed by bhajans and concluded with Gita Aarti and Gurudev’s Aarti.
