Rama Navami was celebrated with Swamini Krishnapriyanandaji delivering a talk on the significance of Ram janma, through different stories that gave reasons for Ram avataar, very interestingly. She told four different stories, explaining the roles of Naradmuni, Jay-Vijay, Ajatashatru and Manu Satarupa. She said Kashyap muni had two wives, Diti and Aditi. Diti had Kama-vasana during sandhya and gave birth to danavas, whilst Aditi gave birth to devas.

Devotees were very fortunate to have a yagna by Swamini Gangananda, a senior disciple of Gurudev. She was a student of the very first batch of Gurudev’s Vedanta course. She took Kaivalya Upanishad in the morning and Bhagawad Geeta Chapter 13 in the evening.

Geeta Jayanti and Tapovan Jayanti celebrations were on 19th December 2018, in the presence of Swamini Krishnapriyananda. Tapovan Ashtakam was chanted first, then Tapovan Namavali. Then followed the chanting of all 18 chapters of Bhagawad Geeta. Krishnapriyanandaji gave a brief talk on Tapovan Maharaj’s life which was very inspiring. The event concluded with aarti and prasad.
