Jayam zone planned a fun filled evening to celebrate Janmashtami. Around 30 children (Balavihar & Geeta chanting participants) took part in the event. It seemed as if Jayam center had turned into Brij Bhoomi for this evening as the Gopi/Gopa Balas were welcomed with Chandan tilak and peacock feather crowns.

Highlights of the program:

●A Special KRISHNA JHANKI was set up depicting Krishna Janma and Krishna lilas like Kalia Mardan, Giri Govardhan.

In connection with the theme, stories were narrated & Bhajans were sung by all in praise of Shri Krishna.

●Game - Children were blindfolded and asked to garland Radha/Krishnaji's idol

●Bhagawad Geeta Chanting of verses from Chapter 4

●Dandiya raas

●Two Balavihar parents volunteered and made a special Chocolate Handi and a Birthday Cake for BalGopal

●Snack boxes were distributed as Prasad and children were given coloring sheets of Natkhat Kanha as a return gift.
