Chinmaya Jayam zone organised a Samuhik Geeta Chanting event at Mahalakshmi Temple, Chinmaya Prerana on Sunday, 21st of January.
More than 60 people across all age groups including committee/ study class members, Bala Vihar children / sevikas and Geeta Chanting competition participants along with their family & friends took part in this event.
Following were the program highlights :-
* Samuhik chanting of verses from Chapter 4 of Bhagawad Geeta
* Felicitation of Mumbai & Maharashtra level winners/ participants and a donor from Jayam zone done by Swamini Swaprabhanandaji
* Talk on Importance of Satsang by Br. Samarth Chaitanyaji
* Interactive sessions based on Geeta for parents (by Shri Vidhu Sharma and children (by Bala Vihar sevikas)
* Special Divine Mahalakshmi Aarti performed by 10 Aarti Yajamans
* Prasad
Many of them who had participated in this event were new to Chinmaya Mission and visiting Chinmaya Prerana centre for the first time.
They all were very happy to get this wonderful opportunity to get darshan of Mahalakshmi Devi, perform the Aarti as well as to chant the Bhagavad Geeta in this sacred space of the temple.
