More Info

“Guru is not a person, he is a personality, an institution. He is the radio through which the Lord contacts the student. When a student meets his teacher, it is always a miracle. Incase you get the rare privilege of meeting such a Master, and you happen to really understand a little of what he says – then progress has to happen. It is unfailing.
If incase you are benefitted, do not forget that the Teacher was brought to you by Ishwara and remember there is no difference between God and the Guru."

Eligibility for Sandeepany:

• Spiritual seekers, regardless of their upbringing and faith, are carefully selected and interviewed before being accepted to undergo the intensive, residential training in Vedic literature.
At present, the Vedanta Course eligibility guidelines are as follows:

• A university degree is a mandatory prerequisite
• Written application and interview
• Unmarried students must have their parents’ permission to join
• Married students must have their spouse’s permission to join
Obtaining consent from near and dear ones is very important, as the Chinmaya Mission does not want anyone to forsake their primary duties in life. Married couples, householders and senior citizens, who wish to join Sandeepany as guest students, require special permission of the course Acharya.

Design Notes

Guru-Parampara & One Day in Sandeepany

The second sub-section represents the Guru Parampara followed by the institute through a visual montage panel. The swan in a stylized form is used for the installation, which gives an insight into the daily schedule from morning to evening.
