Vakya 2 : Upadesha Vakya- Tat Tvam Asi - That Thou Art - Chandogya Upanishad Chapter VI. Section 8 Mantra 7 - sama veda

sa ya esonimaitadatmyamidam sarvam tatsatyam sa atma tattvamasi svetaketo

 

That Existence which is this subtle essence(cause), That all this world has for its Self. That is the Truth. That is the Atman. That thou art, O Svetaketu. 

 

The teacher initiates the student to the Truth through this statement

 

 

 Design Notes

 

The visitor then moves through a connecting passage into the second structure. Created through a carefully designed maze of mirrors, the viewer encounters multiple reflections of himself/herself, signifying that one is That Consciousness that is All Pervasive and substratum of the whole Universe, as indicated in the first Mahavakya. The mirror maze creates an immersive experience of the Mahavakya – That Thou Are.
