On 19th March a Ghar Ghar Mein Satsang was held by Smt. Vibha Mittal and conducted by Swamini Krishnapriyanandaji at Chinmaya Sagar. Sunderakand and Hanuman Chalisa chanting was followed by Arati.

Residents of Powai experienced the bliss of Ram Charit Manas (Uttar Kaand - Kakbhushundi Prasang) by Swami Subhodananda. In the verses is the dialogue between Srota - Garuda and Vakta - sage Kakbhushundi. In his journey to unravel the trappings of his mind, moha, Garuda, who is Vishnu’s vahana (vehicle) traverses from Narada to Brahma, then Shankara. Finally, Shankara, who knew it was maya at play, asks him to go to Kakbhushundi’s ashram. Garuda was released from the clutches of ego, doubt and pride by having to go to a mere crow, Kakbhushundi. Once Garuda stepped into Kakbhushundi’s ashram, the vagrant mind ebbed away and it was a clear field for Garuda to soak in the bliss of Ram Charit Manas.

The monthly Sampoorna Bhagawad Gita Parayan was held at the Ganesh Temple, Aram Nagar II. The chanting session was attended by about fifteen devotees. The program is held on the second Saturday of every month, 3 to 6.30 pm. All are welcome to attend.

Since the last four years, Bala Vihar Sevikas from Chinmaya Mission South Mumbai have been imparting the knowledge of Indian culture and traditions to these children. During the academic year 2018-19, the children were taught stories from Bhagawatam (Dashavataar).
