On the eve of auspicious Mahashivratri, devotees of Chinmaya Narayana Zone, under the guidance of Sri Venkatramani and Dr. Narayanan had organized a Shiva Puja at Saraswathi Vidyalaya, Chembur. Rudrabhishekam was conducted with the chanting of Rudram, Chamakam and Suktams. This was followed by Shiva Ashtothara Archana performed at the main altar, alongwith Bala Vihar children, to the Shiva lingams created by them. Soulful rendering of Bhajans by the Devi group as well as Bala Vihar children made the satvik atmosphere more divine. As always, this was a collective effort with Smt. Vidya Narasimhan taking the lead. Most of the puja materials, flowers and prasad were spontaneously sponsored. The sadhaks of the zone, who were present, said that participating in the puja was indeed a spiritually fulfilling experience for them.
