Mandapeshwar Seva Samiti had organized a grand puja and various cultural programs throughout the eve of Mahashivratri. It is customary for them to give their stage to Chinmaya Mission every year, for this event. More than twenty Bala Vihar children of Bhakti zone (Shanti Ashram), gave an amazing performance of Bhajans and Slokas, for an hour and a half. The children were all groomed and guided by CHYKs, Sudha Iyer, Aishwarya Iyer, Dr. Akshita and Uma Nair. The audience was amused and happy by their performance. Many parents present were curious to know about Bala Vihar and how they could send their children too. All children were given certificates and gifts, as a token of appreciation. It was a wonderful and happy evening.
