Geeta Jayanti Celebration Bala Vihar - Junior Group
Children came in colourful traditional dresses. After invocation prayers, sevika Vijaya narrated the story of Pandavas and Kauravas and the Kurukshetra war. She explained the values in the Geeta, such as working together in yagna spirit for the good of all, duties of children, accepting the results as prasad just like we accept sweets, flower or water with bhakti, importance of focus and concentration for success .with this background they could relate the Gita slokas they were learning & chanting

The family of Late Usha ji Vij held a satsang at their residence at Marine Drive on the 19th of December, in her memory.
Gurudev's Paduka Pooja was performed with a lot of dedication and love by Smt. Neelam Mani, (her first!!) under the expert guidance of Smt. Sandhya ji Oberoi. We then chanted Chapters 12 and 15 of The Bhagvad Geeta.
Gurudev's presence was palpable and strongly felt by all 12 attendees as we offered a "bhaavpoorna shraddhanjali" to one of HIS most devout and staunch devotees.

Geeta Jayanti and Tapovan Jayanti celebrations were on 19th December 2018, in the presence of Swamini Krishnapriyananda. Tapovan Ashtakam was chanted first, then Tapovan Namavali. Then followed the chanting of all 18 chapters of Bhagawad Geeta. Krishnapriyanandaji gave a brief talk on Tapovan Maharaj’s life which was very inspiring. The event concluded with aarti and prasad.

An auspicious coincidence of Moksha Ekadashi and Tapovan Jayanti on 19th December gave reason for a twin celebration. The morning program consisted of Sampoorna Geeta Parayan and the highlight of the evening program was the chanting of Tapovan Shatakam, five times. Both sessions were well attended.

On Tuesday, 18th December 2018, Shree Geeta Jayanti and Pujya Swami Tapovana Jayanti was celebrated at Chinmaya Sagar. Approximately 75 devotees participated in the Puja and the Sampoorna Shreemad Bhagavad Geeta Paaraayana followed by lunch prasad in the presence of Pujya Swami Swatmananda ji. Smt. Manju Malkani 's Worli Devi Group hosted the whole program with great enthusiasm and love.

The Satsang began with Invocation prayers followed by Ganapati Atharva Shirsha, Hanuman Chalisa, 108 times Chanting of Gayatri Mantra preceded by its meaning, followed by Ganpati, Krishna and Guru bhajans. The two granddaughters of Mrs Gupta aged 10 and 13 are with Chinmaya Mission, Singapore They recited the 12th chapter of the Bhagvad Geeta and the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra.

160 members from Chinmaya Prerana Zone visited Chinmaya Pradeep, Powai. These were the winners of Geeta Chanting Competion 2018 and their parents. Swamini Aradhanandaji addressed the children in Bal Mandir and parents in temple separately.
