Mahima Zone Shishuvihar celebrated Navaratri with Matru pooja and dandiya. The event was attended by 75 children between the age group of 2.5 to 5 years.

Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations by Bala Vihar children
On 6th September 2019, senior Bala Vihar children of Matunga chanted slokas on Ganesha. The significance of the festival was explained. Children sang Ganesha bhajans – on Gajanana, Ganapathi, Lambodhara, Mooshikavahana etc. Parents also participated in this fun-filled musical quiz. The celebration concluded with aarti and prasad.

Workshop on Stress and Anger Management for Pre CHYKs by Swami Swatmananda
Swami Swatmanandaji conducted a workshop for teens at Ashok Gardens, Sewri, for thirty participants. They learnt to identify stress and that a calm mind means a clear head. This was through inter-active games, videos and tests.

On 22nd August 2019, senior Bala Vihar children of Matunga celebrated Janmashtami. They chanted Govinda Damodara stotram, Geeta Dhyanam and Bhagawad Geeta Chapter 18. They participated in a quiz on the life of Sri Krishna, based on the day, place and time of Krishna's birth and His leelas. Parents sang bhajans. The celebration concluded with distribution of prasad.

On 19th August 2019, the little ones of Sishu Vihar celebrated Raksha Bandhan and Independence Day, singing the National Anthem and making rakhees with the Indian national flag as the theme. They tied the rakhees to their mother.

Guru Purnima Celebrations Bala Vihar Chinmaya Varashree, Matunga
Guided by Smt. Mangala P., senior Bala Vihar students of Mahima zone celebrated Guru Purnima. As an offering to Adi Guru, a competition was held in chanting Dakshinamoorthy Stotram, which was judged by Dr. Shridhar Iyer, Sanskrit teacher from Parle Tilak Vidyalaya.
