To express their love and gratitude for Guru Parampara around 55 devotees had gathered at Shree Prempuri Ashram on July 11th, 2022.
Swami Swatmanandaji explained a shloka for the worship of Guru Parampara.
Beginning with Shri Narayan, Brahmaji, his Manasputra Vashisthaji, his son Shaktiji then Parasharji, Bhagawan Ved Vyasji, Shukadevji, Gaudpadji, Govindapadji, Adi Shankaracharyaji, his 4 major disciples - Padmapadji, Hastamalakji, Totakacharyaji, Vartikkarji Shri Sureshwaracharyaji, and then the parampara upto my Guru, salutations to all of them. This is the Advaita Guru Parampara we must remember each day and invoke their Grace for our sadhana.
Stotrams were chanted after which 8 enthusiastic CHYKS of Jagadeeshwara zone showcased a small presentation, a quiz based on the 24 gurus of Dattatretya which sent home the message that one can learn from anyone and from anything. There was active participation from the audience side. They moved on to a skit which depicted a story from Skanda Purana where Lord Karthikeya became the Guru of Lord Shiva and taught him the meaning of Pranava, then ended their performance with a live peppy bhajan where everyone joined in by clapping hands and singing along following which we had the Samashti puja followed by the Aarti.
With overwhelming joy and inspiration the devotees parted.
