The talks on Jnanasaar revealed the journey of one who is bound, progressing to being a seeker and finally getting liberated. Swamiji explained how Guruji has used the dialogue between Guru and Shishya to convey the essence of knowledge in the Upanishads.
Evening talks in Hindi commenced from Friday, 29th April on Bhagavad Geeta Chapter -18. During the 6 days talks, Swamiji led us systematically through Arjuna's question about tyaga and sanyasa and how Bhagavan answered it. He further elaborated on the three-fold classification of tyaga, jnanam, budhi, karta etc. based on gunas. Swamiji completed the first 39 verses of Chapter -18, giving us clarity of the topic with excellent examples.
A small book stall was setup wherein varied titles of Chinmaya Publications was put up in the Yagnashala and the response was really good. The Bookstall cum Information Counter members enthusiastically responded to all the enquiries made by the sadhaks w.r.t the activities of Chinmaya Mission and Chinmaya Narayan Zone.
There were bhajan sessions every day before the evening talks to tune the minds of the audience & felicitate better receptivity. The ambience was divine and spiritual with shlokas and a beautiful backdrop and decorations. The seating arrangement was comfortable and water arrangements made. Additionally, refreshments like tea and biscuits were provided after the morning talks which provided an opportunity for the sadhaks to interact with each other and dwell upon the learnings of the day. Prasad was given to all the sadhaks after the evening session.
