Approximately 58 children attended a fun filled, interactive pre-Deepavali celebration which began with prayers performed by the children. The relevance of Deepavali was explained by a PPT presentation.
Dressed in traditional clothes, the children performed Shree Laxmi ji’s pooja by following a step by step, pre-recorded pooja vidhi video. After the pooja, the children took part making simple coconut laddoos as prasad to Goddess Laxmi and painted colourful Diyas to take home to decorate their altar.
A YouTube video by Swami Swatmananda ji - ‘Light firecrackers as Proud Practicing Hindus’, was shared with one and all.
