The Cuffe parade class led by Sevika Vinita ji Asrani, paid obescience to Pujya Gurudev on his 104th Jayanti, in their on-line session today.
Class began with the invocation, followed by the chanting of Gurudev's Ashtothra Naamavali by Neelam Mani.
In the interaction that followed, some members shared very interesting anecdotes from Gurudev's life, while speaking about how he reflected the qualities the names glorified. The two video clips of Gurudev that were screened had the group in splits, as they absorbed the subtle teaching beneath the humor.
The session ended with Vinita ji reminiscing about camps at Sidhbari, where she learnt so much from observing Gurudev who was a living example of compassion, love, discipline and cleanliness. He was extremely strict as to how footwear should be left outside the door...only in an orderly fashion! For he explained, that if one knows not how to arrange one’s footwear, how can he ever arrange his thoughts and control his mind?!!
