Pujya Gurudev’s Jayanti was celebrated with great gusto and enthusiasm as all the members of Sevika Shruti Somani’s, Monday morning class at Churchgate, who had delved into their books to find inspiration and meaning in one of the 108 names, shared their insights. Every student picked a name that resonated with her and how she was inspired and motivated by it. Small anecdotes of Pujya Gurudev's life were spoken of, which brought a smile to many lips. His great ideals were spoken of: endless compassion, blissful, inspiring, single minded, dedicated, disciplined, learned to name but a few.
We have much to learn from our Gurudev who was a great master who showed us the way. Before becoming the leader of immeasurable stature, we discovered how He had been an ideal student under Tapovan ji Maharaj. He embodied "one who submits to discipline is a disciple". The personal research done by each member, not only made us learn more about Pujya Gurudev, but also inspired us to try harder and live the principles we learn. Like He did.
The talks were followed by 2 short videos of Gurudev followed by the chanting of the 108 names!!
The class ended on a high note of gratitude to Him who has touched the lives of many and continues to do so every day!
