Smt. Sheela Chitnis' three classes celebrated Gurudev's 104th Jayanti on 4th May.
27 members participated on zoom.
After अखंड मंडलाकारम्, अष्टोत्तरशतनामावली chanting and watching of Gurudev's video talks, some members spoke on Gurudev's names chosen by them and how it had inspired them.
Minaxi kumar spoke on करुणासागराय नमः. She narrated how sitting at Gurudev's samadhi in Sidhdhabari daily, she found an answer to her conflicts pertaining to her social work as, 'keep up the good work and struggle'. She felt His presence during one of her activities for mentally challenged children.
Hansaben spoke on अविनाशिने नमः and narrated how Gurudev's presence helped her during her loneliness after her husband's death.
Dr Raksha Mangaldas spoke on सर्वहितचिंतकाय नमः। Gurudev's study group aims at helping us to lift ourselves by ourselves and she noticed an increase in tolerance, her ability to forgive people and love them and a decrease in anger levels thereby improving the quality of her life. His words 'even this will pass' gives a lot of solace in these trying times due to Covid.
Uma spoke on जगत्साक्षिणे नमः. She said Gurudev is rooted in the changeless substratum, witnessing the changes. She has become more accepting to the changing nature of jagat.
The celebration ended with Gurudev's Aarti.
