Swami Aparajitanandaji conducted a Jnana Yagna on Bhagawad Geeta - Jnana Karma Sannyasa Yoga. During those seven days, Swamiji provided a deep insight into the tenets of Jnana Karma Sannyasa Yoga (also known as Jnana Yoga) in a simple yet lucid style, which was easily understood by all.
Swamiji explained the deep spiritual meaning of Jnana in this chapter. Lord Krishna tells Arjuna that this knowledge was first given by Him to Surya, which was later passed on to his descendants, until it was lost. If a seeker sincerely wants to gain this knowledge, what are the qualifications that such a seeker requires, the qualifications required for a spiritual teacher who wants to spread this knowledge and different types of yagna that should be undertaken to gain this jnana.
Swamiji concluded by showing that in the seeker’s spiritual pursuit, the Self knowledge gained by taking up such yagnas is the highest form of knowledge. All concepts were beautifully explained by Swamiji in a highly enlightening yagna, which was very well attended (almost 150 to 200 attendees) on all the days.
The yagna concluded on the seventh day with a sense of deep humility, gratitude and thankfulness to our Guru Parampara and our Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji.
