Swami Ramakrishnanandaji's evening discourses were on the Tamil text, composed by Sankara. Listening to him was a unique experience, as he carried his listeners through different stages of human life; a journey from womb to tomb. What Sankara composed so long ago, was simplified and given in Swamiji’s inimitable humorous style, which can be easily assimilated. He gave day-to-day examples, which made listeners think about the very purpose of life. He wanted his audience to understand that all are forgiven by the Almighty who is ever ready to lend a helping hand, provided our efforts are genuine and sincere. About seventy people attended the program, on all three days.
