Guru Purnima was celebrated at Jayam centre with Swamini Krishpriyanandaji conducting Paduka Puja. Smt. and Shri Menon and Shri Mukesh Shahri were the yajmans. Archana was done by chanting 108 names of Veda Vyasa. Swaminiji sang a beautiful song on Veda Vyasa composed by Swami Tejomayanandaji, in her melodious voice. The highlight of the event was a short film on Gurudev’s Ashttotara Namavali, describing his names through related pictures and events. For example, yajna by Gurudev at Cross Maidan, Mumbai, growth of Sandeepany Sadhanalay, Mumbai and CIF Kerala, Gurudev’s Tulabhaaram and Teerth Yatra, his tapas, his kutia, his meeting saints and many more. It was amazing to watch Gurudev dancing raas leela at Sidhabari. Jeevan Darshan at Vibhooti, his hospitals and vidyalayas, CORD activities, Gurudev hugging children ... covering his whole life, his vision and mission. The last Namavali, Nitya Shuddha Buddha Mukta Svarupaya Namah showed Pujya Guruji performing archana and abhishek at Gurudev’s samadhi in Sidhabari. A divine, white bird was shown flying towards the Himalayan ranges, slowly merging and then disappearing, like atma merging with parmatma. The audience was rendered speechless, overwhelmed with love and devotion for Gurudev. The event concluded with Gurudev’s aarti.
