Study Group at Dosti Acres celebrated Guru Purnima under the guidance of sevika, Smt. Mangala Panchapakesan. She spoke on Who is a Guru and Why we should have a Guru. She narrated stories of Shankaracharya and his disciples. Members chanted Guru Stotram and spoke on Vyasa, the greatness of a Guru and their experiences with Gurudev. A member read out a poem on Guru, written by her. Mangalaji guided the performing of Paduka Puja, with chanting of Shri Chinmaya Ashţottara Namavali. The celebration concluded with Gurudev’s aarti and distribution of prasad.
