To celebrate the world environment day, raise awareness and encourage action for the protection of our environment, we organised an #e-waste collection drive culminating into a visit to the e-waste recycling plant of Recyclekaro.com. The collection drive which lasted close to a week saw an aggressive campaign from CHYKs and other participants. We collectively reached out to more over 1100 households asking them to part with their e-waste, become an eco-warrior, and move towards a better future by joining hands with responsible recyclers.
The trip to RecycleKaro was filled with activities and games followed by the factory visit ably guided by Mr. Rajesh Gupta, Dr. Rajiv Shrivastava and Mr. Rupesh Chitte. This was followed by sumptuous lunch and an engaging group discussion on our contribution in 3R (#Reduce, #Reuse, #Recycle). We wrapped up with a brief session on the circular economy and the ancient Indian wisdom jointly taken by Chaitanya DR and Anju Taparia Kunte.
As the trip ended, participants pledged to do more for our planet and Mother Nature.
