Chinmaya Fine Arts celebrated its Annual Day in the temple premises, in keeping with its tradition each year. The grand function was on the auspicious day of Gudi Padva, with about 150 students of different faculties showcasing their talents, in the presence of about 250 people which included dignitaries, parents, relatives and friends. There were performances of Bharatanatyam, Kathak and Satriya, Carnatic and Hindustani vocal, Keyboard, Violin and Tabla. A grand exhibition of Drawings and Paintings of students showcased their work, at the rear side of the temple. To date, Chinmaya Fine Arts had a total strength of 186. The teaching faculty was felicitated for the excellent, dedicated work in preparing the students to present their talent in front of such a big audience. Special prizes were given to the best students of each faculty. The celebration concluded with sumptuous dinner.
