With the grace of the Lord and the blessings of Pujya Gurudev and Pujya Guruji, the area finals of Chinmaya Geeta-chanting Competition 2018 for Chinmaya Prerana Zone took place at Chinmaya Prerana Ashram, Kharghar. Chinmaya Mission Navi Mumbai (Airoli to Panvel) is divided into four areas and competition for each area was held separately. Around 983 students participated in the area finals rounds. The whole ashram was vibrating with the divine chanting of the little Krishnas and Radhas. Many parents too participated in the competition. All winners were awarded certificates, trophies and a small token. A sponsored half-day visit to Chinmaya Pradeep was also announced for all winners. Also, a sponsored registration for Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Archana on 31st December was given to all H Group winners. Along with the competition, simultaneously there were four parenting sessions conducted by Sri Vidhu Sharma and team. The session was very informative and very well received by the non- participating parents. Many parents and children plan to join Study Grpou and Bala Vihar. It was an excellent demonstration of yagna spirit by all sevaks, sevikas and CHYKS. All sevaks and sevikas expressed their fulfilment in months of teaching and training the children. Canteen facility for parents at subsidised rate was also arranged. On the whole, the two day-CGCC 2018 was a grand success.
