The Chinmaya Sagar Annual Geeta Chanting Competition was held on 8th of December 2018 at the HPT School Hall, Marine Lines
Months of diligent training at the various schools in South Mumbai and Bal Vihar classes, culminated into an extremely well attended South Mumbai Area Final of The Annual Geeta Chanting Competition held at the HPT School.
Participants were judged on their chanting of Ch 18 of the Bhagwad Geeta. The excited winners were happy to receive certificates, trophies and prizes from Dr. Madhuriben Sheth (Trustee ), Smt. Vinita Asrani (President, Chinmaya Sagar) and Dr. Abha Shroff (Trustee). All the participants were also given gifts and snacks.
The interactive session with parents had questions on the Holy Geeta by Yuvaveer Saurabh Bhandari and Bhajans by Balvihar sevikas.
The enthusiasm and dedication of the participants and their parents, in this endeavour, was visible and extremely encouraging indeed.
The total number of registrations were 1572 which included 22 schools, 12 Bal Vihar classes and 12 adult Study groups.
