The sevikas spoke briefly about Ganesha, his parents and his arrival into our homes. Class commenced with the opening prayers and chorus bhajans. Colourful Ganpatis were made out of coloured dough, which made the children very excited! With the help of their parents, children enjoyed making colourful Ganpatis. This was followed by puja and aarti. Kids were made to understand the significance of visarjan. An idol of Ganpati was immersed in a tub of water to show visarjan, by children and parents.
