Janmashtami Celebrations at Ashok Towers on 2nd September 2018
Bala Vihar children (seniors) celebrated Janmashtami by narrating different stories of Sri Krishna. Each child was assigned a character and they had to express the character in their own way. Children had come prepared, in their finery. Stories of Vasudev, Yashoda, Sudhama, Rukmini, Balarama, Arjuna were narrated. Radha performed a dance. They had brought their favourite foods as prasad for Sri Krishna. Bhajans were sung with enthusiasm. A quiz competition was conducted between Gopas and Gopis, before ending with Chinmaya Mission pledge and aarati.
