This year, Janmashtami was celebrated differently. Samashti Vishnu Sahasranama archana was performed by about 20 devotees, before midnight, birth of Krishna. After prayer, puja was performed, led by Swamini Krishnapriyanandaji. We chanted 1008 names of Bhagwan Vishnu with the offering of akshata. It was followed by bhajans. The palna for Krishna was beautifully decorated by Swaminiji. It was followed by aarti and prasad.
