The auspicious day of Guru Purnima was celebrated with great reverence and devotion at Chinmaya Prerana, Kharghar. The conference hall at Prerana was brimming with ardent members of the Navi Mumbai Chinmaya family. The evening started with the melodious rendering of bhajans followed by an enlightening talk by Swamini Swaprabhanandaji on the significance of a Guru and the process of choosing the right Guru. The theme of the day was Guru-Shishya. Study group members and CHYKs presented a colourful, vibrant mosaic of skits and talks on nine exemplary Guru-Shishya pairs. The performances were truly inspiring and helped us understand the subtle nuances and the spiritual richness of the Guru-Shishya Parampara. The evening concluded with Ashirvachan by Swami Medhajanandaji and Paduka Pooja.
