We had over 460 participants at the recently concluded #GYS Navigating Bhaarat Camp held at Chinmaya Vibhooti with the youngest participant being 15 months to senior citizens. It was an amazing experience - power packed and fun filled. Participants from all age groups were kept completely engaged relevant to their age category. Since the camp was based on the Rivers of India - Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati, somene had asked if we would cover history or geography. But the camp was unique. The Camp Acharyas: Swami Swatmanandaji and Swami Medhajanandaji brought out a completely different aspect that the rivers teach us ie Ganga for Selfless Service, Yamuna for Surrender and Devotion and Saraswati for sharing the highest Knowledge. The participants experienced a glimpse of our ancient rich culture as we celebrated Ganga Dassera, Holi, Basant Panchami. Through Art Mela and Save the River activity, the participants understood and appreciated the need to preserve our culture and our rivers.
