The programme started with Shanti mantra followed by Pujya Gurudev's paduka puja. The yajman was Pankajamma. Soul-stirring bhajans were sung by Smt. Archana Prabhu, Smt. Ujjwala Sethna, Smt. Indira Someshwar, Shri C. S. Dinesh and Shri P. B. Someshwar. As this day is celebrated as Seva Day by the Mission, Ms. Kumud Mehta spoke about how Raja Ram Mohan Roy and Swami Vivekananda served their countrymen. After Gurudev’s aarati and prasad distribution, members dispersed with renewed fervour and seva bhava.
