102nd Chinmaya Jayanti was celebrated on 8th May, 7 to 9 pm at The Rotary Club, Juhu. Pujya Gurudev inspired a movement that spread across the globe, guiding all to seek the light of knowledge. More than 50 people came together to pay homage to Gurudev on this very auspicious day.
The program commenced with soulful bhajans, followed by Guru Paduka Puja, done by all, under the guidance of Swami Swatmanandaji. Fun activities and games, for based on the 108 names of Pujya Gurudev, were played. These included Dumb Charades where Gurudev’s names were enacted and guessed and Rapid Fire. In this game, participants had to say the maximum number of names of Pujya Gurudev in just one minute! The winner said 34 names in the stipulated time, which was hugely inspiring for all present. Swamiji spoke to all and presented a beautiful video of Pujya Gurudev, narrating the story of how Bhagirath brought the holy Ganga to Mother Earth. Everyone went home with a feeling of reverence, completeness and prasad pustikas.
