Holi marks the advent of spring and brings with it joy, happiness and exuberance. Traditionally it is celebrated as the festival of colours and this is exactly how the tiny tots of the Chinmaya Prakash Zone, celebrated this festival! On the 8 th of March, from 6.00-7.30 pm, the Balvihar Sevikas organized Holi celebrations for the children of all Balvihar classes. Children listened to the story of Hiranyakashipu and Prahlad, sang bhajans and played Holi with colours and water. On small paper chits, children were asked to name the qualities or habits; they wanted to get rid of. These chits were then symbolically burnt in a little bonfire. Children and parents both enjoyed the celebrations.
