Gurupoornima was celebrated in Chinmaya Prerana, Kharghar in a very grand and unique way.
For the past four years study group members of Navi Mumbai come together and make a
presentation on the given topic. This year too same method was followed and the topics given to
the members were based on the life, teaching and works of Bhagawan Adi Shankaracharyaji. It was
divided into 13 topics and given to each study group. Members in their groups discussed among
themselves and finally one representative from each study group presented their views during the
program. It was seen that all study group members participated enthusiastically and also graced
the occasion. Br Ved Chaitanya summarizing the whole topic shared his views on
‘Shankaracharyaji’s entire work’ in his ashirvachan. At the end Guru paduka pooja was performed
by our pre-chyks who passed out tenth standard in flying colors. The function ended with
Mahaprasad for all.
