Chinmaya Geeta Fest activity started in Navi Mumbai with a big bang of 80 new enthusiastic Geeta

Prerana on 9 th of July 2016. Apart from sevak, sevikas and Balvihar parents many teachers from in

and around Navi Mumbai schools participated in the workshop. It was a six-hour workshop with

Br. Ved chaitanyaji explaining and expounding the intricacies involved in chanting of Bhagavad

Geeta. He also explained the rules and regulations of Chinmaya Geeta Fest 2016 and why it is a

need of this hour and what Geeta Doota are expected to do? In the second session Acharyaji

expounded on the meanings of the verses in Chapter 16. The session ended with Geeta Doota

promising to work in their respective areas in coordination with central team.
