An Aayushsookta Havan was conducted in Shree Mahalakshmi temple, Chinmaya
Prerana, Kharghar for Balavihar children. This is a new initiative taken by the Navi
Mumbai zone to invite all the balavihar children to participate in the havan. This havan
will be conducted every month on a particular Sunday where all the balavihar children
celebrating their birthday in that month will come together to ashram with their
parents. Children will perform the Havan.
For the first time on trial basis the first birthday havan for the month of April was
conducted on 10 th April 2016 in our Temple premises. The havan was performed by our
pujari Sri Suraj Vyas ji and around 17 children in and around Navi Mumbai participated
with their parents. For many parents it was their first visit to our ashram. All children
performed the havan and our Acharya Swamini Samarpitananda gave Aashirvachan to
the children and parents. Programme concluded with Prasad distribution and shanti
path.
