Report of Annual Day Celebration of Chinmaya Fine Arts 2016
3 rd Annual Day of Chinmaya Fine Arts was celebrated in a grand scale on 8 th April 2016 –
Gudhipadva day between 6.30 to 9 pm at Shree Mahalakshmi Temple Auditorium,
Kharghar.
The function was inaugurated by Swamini Samarpitanandaji, Br. Ved Chaitanyaji, Chief
Guest Smt. Swapna Datar (Famous Violinist) and Guest of Honor Smt. Mangala
Chandrashekar, (Principal, Vaswani International School, Sanpada) & Shri Parindra
Kadakia (Trustee Chinmaya Mission, Mumbai).
There were performances by students of Guitar, Keyboard and Tabla. The programme
concluded with 30 minutes scintillating solo Tabla performance by Master Anirudh
Pandit, 9 th std. student and Violin recital by Chief Guest Smt. Swapna Datar
accompanied by Shri Avinash Patwardhan on Tabla.
Swamini Samarpitanandaji distributed gifts to Fine Arts Students, Chief Guest and
Guest of Honor felicitated the Faculty teachers. The function concluded with
Ashirvachan by Br. Ved Chaitanyaji followed by Mahaprasad. About 200 people
attended the function.
