SOBO FVC Graduation Ceremony

Hari Om,

It was a beautiful morning of Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Panchsheel, Churchgate was full of energetic batch of First SOBO Foundation Vedanta seekers who were all set for their graduation ceremony.

They had undergone training with Br. Nidhi Chaitanya and this special occasion was graced by Swami Swatmananada, Acharya, South Mumbai.

The ceremony began with invocation prayers seeking the Lord and Gurudev’s blessings. The program began with a very interesting set of performance staged by the students whereby vedantic concepts were enacted in form of Advertisement jingles from 1980-90s. It was a real joy to see them perform the jingles with such zeal and fun. Vedanta never seemed so much fun before this !

Some students chose to present their views on Vedanta and their course experience in form of peoms and song which was really heartwarming. Impressions-course experiences were shared by few students which enlightened everyone about the impact of the course on the seekers and how it made them firm and clear about leading life with Vedantic outlook.

Nidhiji presented the course report and proudly announced that this was the only batch where all 14 graduates had obtained “O” grade-the highest grade granted by CIF. She acknowledged that the love she received from this batch was something she would cherish for the lifetime.

Later, Swami Swatmanandji inspired everyone with his talk wherein he said why each person should learn Vedanta and how it can make a person patriotic. He mentioned how privileged we all were to be born in a country which has produced maximum saints and we must repay our debts to them by spreading this valuable knowledge by leading a Vedantic life.

The formal graduation ceremony was conducted wherein each student received their CIF certificate with a token from the Mission from Swamiji.

The atmosphere was full of joy and gratitude as each student felt the joy of achievement and gratitude to Gurudev for considering them eligible for the knowledge.

he program concluded with arati and vote of thanks to all present. Lunch bhiksha was enjoyed by one and all. Overall a very fulfilling experience !
