A beautiful travelogue of Swamiji's travel by barefoot to some of the most important pilgrim spots in the Himalayas. He calls this as a spiritual sadhana a very powerful means of self – purification.
This book teaches us the power of pure Nature and how we can connect with the power within, Nature -heals and Swamiji has shared with us this short diary filled with important lesson which will guide us on the path of spirituality and lead us to Chit Shudhi. I am sure all the readers will really be allured by the beauty and vastness of the surrounding, be it youthful Yamuna or dignified Bhagirathi, the divine tree of Deodars or the majestic Gangotri.
The serenity is so calming and peaceful that in such an atmosphere, Prayers comes to one Naturally. It is incredible to see how Swamiji describe the physical & mental discomfort with such humor. This just teaches us that how we can focus on our journey with lot of positivity.
This Journey has left a deep impact on my soul as it teaches us that Prayer alone can give us courage and our faith alone is our protection. So whenever we face any hurdles we should keep taking the name of lord (do the Japa) and have a faith in God. In this book Swamiji even spoke about the power of Meditation and Intuition. He shares that no words can express the Inner Peace, he experienced while meditating and about Intuition - intuition is the only faculty by which a man can feel, know, live and become the immortal, undivided and indivisible. It is important to cultivate this faculty and we get this by integrating the mind and intellect. Once the Mind and Intellect is aligned and then there is complete silence within and we are blessed with the grace of god.
