Guru Smaran Saptah- 3rd May ( Day 1)

Cuffe Parade class held on Mondays 11:40am.
Attendees 7 including Sevika.
Class started with Guru stotram. The Guru Paduka stotram was sung verse by verse amongst 5 of members.
The book was discussed and the points that stood out were:
How Pujya Gurudev seems so matter of fact in the face of difficulties,
His perseverance in the face of so much physical hardship. This was a big takeaway as it was felt that one must learn to apply it and not give up on one's goal. It was also pointed out that Pujya Gurudev was so matter of fact about them.
His language even whilst writing a diary! How the rivers seemed to have such personalities for example.
That missing out on decent food or tea was felt, but not made a big deal of at all; yet savoured when received. How we too can be like this...honest about our feelings and receive happily.
This was all that was discussed as some members had still not read it/fully. So, it was decided that next class too this would be taken up.
