Attendees: 10( including the sevika )
Highlights: The class started with invocation and Guru Stotram, ( each student singing one verse ) , followed by each student sharing her inspiration from Gurudev’s diary”My trek through Uttarakhand”.
The salient points from the reflections .
•All sorrows in life help us to evolve. All physical pain make us look away from the world outside and make us delve deep within.
•Gurudev s Love for Nature and his perseverance and passion to reach the goal.
One should see divinity in everything shows in his
Description of River Yamuna.
.Experiencing bliss amidst the majesty of nature .
.Gurudev's political awareness as this book was written just after Indian partition .
.His social awareness. Reference his opinion on old she buffaloes being discarded and his suggestion to use them as draught animals .
.Another pertinent observation he makes is 'Write, when new experiences and truths gurgle out of you. Delve within.
The class then chanted 108 names of Pujya Gurudev and Akshat was offered at the altar.
The altar was prepared and pujya Gurudev’s Aarti was performed by Vibha Shah with extreme love and devotion .
Guru paduka Stotram chanting followed by singing 2 guru bhajans 1. By Prabha shah 2. By Vibha shah .
The celebration was concluded with chanting of Gurudev’s pledge in the Masters voice and ended with the finishing verses.

After this all members gave their feedback of the celebration today .One feedback is;
“After being part of Study group Smaran saptah one feels a deep sense of Gratitude to Gurudev & Chinmaya mission.
What stands out that our connection with the book Trek to Uttrakhand is so different from one another inspite of so many common threads.
It's for me to imbibe that my Prism is different in color from the next person so the picture is going to be different.
Each sees through their own unique equipment.
So much devotion comes through in the bhajan,arti,Gurustrotam, Namavali🙏🏼🙏🏼
