The very auspicious day was uniquely celebrated with their Sevika.
The children first learnt and sang a new song on Gurudev. The Sevika explained to the little ones how Gurudev shared divine knowledge with all. A video explaining the significance of a bell in Hindu culture was shown, followed by a Bell creativity activity.
Balavihar Grade 2 INT Birla Centre had a special celebration where they played: Catch the lie which meant speaking about their nature and others had to guess, Truth or Lie. They also played blowing the balloons in one minute and practiced breathing techniques. Lovely Balavihar songs were sung and finally children offered homemade cookies and cakes for prasad.
Grade 4 INT Birla Centre were told the relevance of Vaikunth Ekadashi, Geeta Jayanti & Tapovan Jayanti. They sang a song on Gurudev, revising the values of A to Z Alphabet Safari, had a competition of blowing balloons and making newspaper balls. It was heartening that all children celebrated this blessed day with their families at home.
