On the first Monday of Shravan, Rudrabhishek was chanted on Zoom by Swamini Krishnapriyanandji.
Shri Rudram is regarded as the jewel of the Vedas for the sheer energy it generates, the perfect set of vibrations that makes the Divine arise within us.
The most power packed Rudram was chanted 11 times and Abhishek of milk and water was offered. Almost 35-40 devotees had the opportunity to offer Abhishek to Shivji in their homes
The second Somvar of Shravan was attended by approximately 25 devotees and was celebrated on Zoom with a Shodashopachar Puja and chanting Shiva Ashtottarshat Namavalli ably conducted by Varsha Dalal. Smt. Sheela Chitnis rendered the Shiva Manasa Puja stotram very melodiously.
Bhajans were sung by Smt. Neelam Mani and Smt. Rena Shah. The program ended with Shivji's aarti.
Due to these special circumstances the altar was prepared at home. The atmosphere was indeed divine. May Shiva, the Lord of beneficence and compassion- the renovator, guardian and father of the universe bless us all.
