On the 6th of May 2020, the study group led by Sevika Aditi Agarwalla, (Marine drive class), celebrated Pujya Gurudev’s Jayanti, through an online session.
The session started with the chanting of the Guru Stotram and the 108 names of Pujya Gurudev. Two video clips of Gurudev's talks, were shown and reflected upon soon after.
Ragini Rai and Shivani Dahanukar, fortunate members of the class who had met Gurudev in person, then recounted their memories of the time when Gurudev was present and had taken personal interest in every little detail including the decorations, during the wedding of their nephew in Sidhbari, years ago. Shivani was only 11years old then, but vividly remembers how Gurudev had affectionately fed her from his plate! Our Sadhguru, Ocean of compassion and love!
Sarita ji Shroff remembered how she, as an impressionable 13-year-old, had been taken to one of Gurudev's talks. Although time has erased the content of the talk from her memory, Gurudev's radiant persona and baritone voice got etched in her memory for life.
In the interaction that followed, others then shared how Gurudev had impacted their lives through his many books and talks and how they had benefitted from attending the study class.
The session ended with each one expressing their gratitude for Gurudev's presence in their lives.
