Gurudev’s 26th Mahasamadhi Day was observed as Founders Day by the Chinmaya Nursery, Worli. Children displayed their learning through short song and dance sequences and reminded everyone to ‘Keep Smiling’.
Dr. Abha Shroff (Trustee - CST Mumbai) addressed the parents on EPOCH-CH (Effective Parenting of Children - The Chinmaya Way). A parent should have the attitude of being a 'caretaker' rather than the 'creator'. Be like gardeners who tending the plants. Accept how they grow. Invest 'in' your children and not 'on' them, since the latter only improves their exterior personality, whereas teaching a child good values since a young age makes them balanced and happy individuals. The event concluded with aarti and prasad and the little ones asking each other, “Are you smiling? Keep smiling!”
