Salutations to the Guru - a beautiful garland of colorful events was offered to Guru Parampara with utmost devotion by the sadhaks of Chinmaya Narayan Zone on Friday, 23rd July as part of Guru Purnima Celebrations.
The Online program started with invocation and a quiz cum skit by Balvihar kids. CHYKs & Pre CHYKs narrated the life & anecdotes of Sw. Ramanand Ji & Sant Kabir and also sang a few dohas alongwith explanation. Indeed commentable performance!
Soulful rendering of bhajans on Guru and the chants Tapovana Shatkam & Chinmayashtakam were the offerings of Devi Group. Guru Sishya in Upanishads and Avdhoot Geeta from Canto 11 of Srimad Bhagawatam were systematically presented by the Study group sadhaks which were inspring as well as instructive.One poem on Guru was also recited by a sadhak of the zone.
A beautiful skit on Guru Sishya Parampara starring 6 year olds to 60 year olds from Vedic Chanting Class - was one of the highlights of the programme which had a lot of messages facilitating the value of Gurus in children.
Guru Paduka Puja with Vyasa Ashtothara Shata Namavali Archana was done observing the Puja Vidhis at Chinmaya Narayana Centre by Brni. Prachiti Chaitanya Ji while the relay chanting of the Namavali was done by the members of the Working Commitee of the Zone.
This online programme had 97 participants attending with devotion and enthusiasm.
It was a morning well spent with Guru Smaran, Guru Chintan, Guru Bhajan and Guru Pujan. The team is grateful to the President, the Working Committee & all the senior members of the Mission for the support.
