On 2nd January, the members of Sai-Trishul CHS who are the part of the New Bhagavad Geeta Study Group of the Chinmaya Narayan Zone started the New Year 2021 with chanting the thousand names of Lord Narayana under the guidance of Swami Atulananda.
Twenty participants and one witness (20-21 people) ranging from 5 years to 80 years with their masks on and maintaining social distance, came together along with their families to make a spiritual beginning to 2021.
The event was blessed by the Lord and Pujya Gurudev’s Grace and even though there were some Adhi-bhautik factors (neighbouring construction noises) but guided by the chanting provided by Smt. Pramodini Amma, we were able to remain steadfast to chanting the Lord name.
The final impressions created in the mind of a 13-year old, who was exposed to such a long prayer for the first time, was a very peaceful experience. Another 70-year old finally sat for a Pooja after 40 years. We all feel blessed to reconnect with Him and know that The Lord still has us in His Mind! Time to make room for HIM in ours!!!
