Along with Balvikas Sangh, Chembur, the zone had organised a yagna in pitra paksha, as a homage to ancestors. The evening text was Bhagawad Gita Chapter 6 (1-22 slokas) in Marathi and Navadha Bhakti (Bhagwatam) in English, in the mornings. Shravanam, kirtanam, Vishnu smaranam, padasevanam, archanam, vandanam, dasyam, sakhyam, atmanivedanam. Swamini Nishkalanandaji explained the various aspects of Bhakti in simple language; its sweetness was soul-stirring. In the evening, Swaminiji explained how to prepare oneself physically and mentally for dhyana. The difference between aruuruksha and aruurudha made listeners ponder over the concepts. One gets amazed at the detailed instructions given by the Lord as a preparation for mediation. The evening satsang started with classical and enchanting bhajans by the members of Balvikas Sangh.
