Jai Hanuman gnyana guna saagar… The atmosphere at Smt. Nita Viswasrao’s residence was charged with the melodious chanting of Hanuman Chalisa, along with the rhythmic taal set by the cymbals. Nitaji is a committed, devoted study group member. The satsang started with a powerful chanting of Ganapathi Atharvasirsha. Ganesha Ashtotara and Hanuman Ashtotara Archana followed. Dr. Narayanan, a senior study group member, conducted the puja meticulously, with great devotion. The chanting was led by Smt. Shyamala Acharya. Smt. Maya Nandkishore gave a short introduction and explained the significance of Hanuman Chalisa: how it describes the form, virtues, stories and glories of Hanumanji and how chanting it with devotion will establish jnana, bhakti and vairagya in the seekers' heart. Two beautiful bhajans were sung, followed by Hanuman and Gurudev’s aartis. Concluding prayers marked the completion of the satsang. Devotees who attended felt extremely fulfilled. Devotees thanked her for the sumptuous Prasad and for giving them an opportunity to be part of this beautiful satsang.
