As we have been doing for the past two years (at Powai Ashram in 2022 & Chinmaya Prerana in 2023) Chinmaya Jayam zone organized a Samuhik Geeta Chanting program on 2nd Feb, to culminate Geeta Chanting Competition - 2024.
This time it was held at Chinmaya Prakash Center and was graced by the presence of Swami Swatmanandaji.
Since it was the auspicious day of Basant Panchami the program started with invocation & chanting of Sharada Stotram to seek blessings of Maa Saraswati. This was followed by the Samuhik chanting of Geeta Dhyanam and chapter 5 of Bhagavad Geeta (the selected chapter for GCC-2024) wherein all participants both young children and adults chanted together with lot of fervor & enthusiasm.
It was also a great blessing for all of us to have Satsang with Swamiji and listen to a very interesting and informative talk on the significance of Basant Panchami; importance of Geeta chanting and living the Geeta way of life.
The event saw many new people visiting center for the first time who were very happy to interact with Swamiji. It also served as a good opportunity to share more information about the various activities of our Mission and vision of Pujya Gurudev.
